Our Programs

Learn and Earn Program

Grow as a person while
earning supplies
for your baby...

The Learn and Earn Program is an opportunity for our clients who are either expecting a baby or have a child up to 3 years old to earn free baby supplies including diapers, wipes, clothes, blankets, furniture and other items.

How does it work?

Clients who are participating in the Learn & Earn Program will be given simple Bible studies which they can complete on their own at home. At the client’s appointment, the Bible study material will be reviewed with a counselor and then points will be given. With these points, which we call “Mommy Bucks”, the client can purchase baby and or maternity items in our Mommy store. We do not accept real money but will only exchange the items within our store for points earned by our clients.

But what if I am not religious or I don’t believe the same things you do?

We enjoy sharing wisdom from the Bible with all of our clients but at the same time we do not require any of our clients to believe what we believe. We do strive to be respectful towards our clients and the beliefs they hold to. We believe that the Bible does hold wisdom that can help anyone in any situation. The Learn and Earn Program is an opportunity for us to explore the Bible’s wisdom together!

Are there other ways I can earn points?

All clients who are in the Learn & Earn program are required to participate in the Bible studies. In addition to the Bible studies, clients can also earn points these following ways:

  • Being on time for appointments.
  • Memorizing Bible verses.
  • Writing out Bible chapter summaries.

Do I qualify for the Learn & Earn Program?

If you are pregnant, have small children in diapers, or desire to earn baby supplies for the baby or small child in your life then you qualify for the Learn & Earn program. Call and make an appointment today!

Doula Program

What is a Doula?

Providing physical, emotional
and informational support...

A Doula is a trained professional who provides continuous physical, emotional and informational support to a mother before, during and shortly after childbirth to help her achieve the healthiest, most satisfying experience possible. Doulas are not medical professionals and do not provide medical care or medical advice.

Do you feel alone?

Our team of doulas can offer you the support that every woman needs during the pregnancy journey and the labor and delivery experience. You will be able to meet with her weekly and then on the day of labor and delivery she will be by your side to help you through the very special and often difficult process.

Do you feel scared of the unknown?

Pregnancy involves many changes that can make women feel scared. Our doula is available to answer questions and give words of advice and encouragement. She may be called/texted during business hours and she will return your call/text within 24 hours.

Do you feel unprepared to go through this?

We understand that an unplanned pregnancy can make you feel inadequate. During your weekly visits with our doula you will have opportunities to learn about what you can expect while your body and your baby go through the different stages of pregnancy, what to expect when the day of labor and delivery arrives, and what to expect when you are able to hold your baby in your arms.

Do I qualify for the Doula Program?

Clients who are actively enrolled in AWC’s Learn and Earn program and who are pregnant may qualify for the Doula Program. If you meet these two requirements and are interested in our Doula Program make an appointment today to meet with one of our doulas. At the appointment you can anticipate becoming acquainted with the doula and helping her to become acquainted with you by filling out a simple survey. If the doula is able to recommend you for the doula program then you can begin the program the following week.
